Riders crossing an open valley below the Tien Shan range

Who we are

Born inKyrgyzstan.Built forthe trail.

Local knowledge, good horses and journeys built around the landscapes we know best.

Local team · Small groups · Horseback expeditions

Our story

We started withthe trail.

NOMAD LIVE grew from a simple idea: show Kyrgyzstan the way we know it — from horseback, through open valleys, high passes and the places beyond the road.

The journeys are built around landscapes, horses and people that are part of everyday life here, not created only for visitors.

We keep the groups small, the pace human and the experience close to the places we travel through.

“The journey should feel real because it is.”

What matters

Less show.More truth.

Real places over staged experiences

We travel through working landscapes, communities and routes that exist beyond tourism.

Small groups over mass tourism

Fewer riders means more flexibility, better pacing and a closer connection to the trail.

Respect before everything

Respect for horses, local people, land and the pace of the journey comes first.

The people

The team behindthe journey.

Listed by role: the photographs are from our journeys, not portraits of these four people. Names and real portraits go up once the team has given us theirs.

Local roots

Knowing the landchanges thejourney.

Routes change with weather, pasture, water, road conditions and the rhythm of the mountains.

Local knowledge means knowing when to move, when to wait and when the better route is not the obvious one.

This is what allows the journey to feel flexible instead of scripted.

The land
Routes shaped by real conditions
The people
Connections built locally
The horses
Knowledge of temperament, terrain and pace

Our approach

Travel small.Ride deeper.

Small groups

Fewer riders, better pacing and more flexibility.

The right pace

Routes adapt to weather, terrain and the group.

Local guides

People who know the land, horses and communities.

Real connection

More time on the trail. Less staged tourism.

Every journey is planned carefully, but the mountains still have the final say.
